Remember To Breathe
December 10, 2020
Hello there
**I am currently not taking on new clients**
If you have visited Driftwood Body Healing before,
please feel free to make your appointment online
READ BELOW FOR RECENT UPDATES
What to Expect On Your Next Visit:
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment at the studio and wait
until I deem it is safe or wave you to come in.
You will be greeted at the door and I may use a no-touch thermal temperature reader
confirming you don't have a fever. If you feel ill on the day of your appointment,
there is no penalty to cancel.
Massage is not advised if you have any symptoms or illness.
Face masks are mandatory while receiving a massage.
San Mateo County has stated that Bandanas and Neck Gaiters are no longer allowed for indoor use.
Please use masks with ear holders, preferably K95 masks, or surgical masks.
If you arrive without one, I will provide one
and request you wear it covering your mouth and nose while in the studio or massage space.
(Cal/Osha is requiring everyone receiving a massage to wear a mask during the entire service)
You will be asked to sign a COVID-19 consent form.
This form will ask if you have any COVID related symptoms,
and it will explain the inherent risks of massage/bodywork during this time.
Please sanitize upon arrival and then again upon leaving.
I will also be wearing a mask and potentially a face shield if needed; I can wear gloves upon request.
Hygiene and hand washing is very important to me and I urge you to let me know of any ways I can make you more comfortable.
At this point, this may not be new information for you, just an understanding of what I will request from you during your session.
What is new:
*A new screen door maintains airflow. It is open during massage sessions.
Dress warm on the way in, but prepare for a toasty table!
11/28/20: SMC (San Mateo County) has declared that we are currently in the purple zone. This means there needs to be extra precautions with the increase in numbers for the coming month. I am still allowed to work inside with the precautions I already have in place.
Please wear your mask.
10/23/20: As of September 21, San Mateo County was categorized in the red zone. I am now allowed to see clients inside. I have both windows open, the HEPA fan on full time, and I am working on getting a screen door to help keep the air flowing throughout the studio.
Inside:
~Screen Door. Open during massage sessions.
~Glass countertops on all my wood surfaces for efficient cleaning.
~A HEPA air purifier will be continuously running along with letting the room "air out" between clients.
~Additional cleaning of surfaces after each client will also take place.
If you have any concerns, feel free to let me know.
Thank you for your cooperation.
I look forward to seeing you soon
Warmly,
Alexi
